Capitalisation Automation
- If the Auto capitalise box is ticked on the Asset Capitalisation Rules, and the Invoice complies with all the requirements of the Asset Capitalisation Rules, then the Auto capitalisation automation will be able to create an asset from the invoice and auto-capitalise it.

How to view Capitalisation Automation
Viewing Capitalisation
As per Generic Navigation options, either from left-hand navigation panel, expand Settings and select Automations from the Document folder or enter Automations in the Search option.
This will then show the Automations on the system where normal customisation of Sets can be used.

Tip
To modify the columns displayed, select
option on the right of the column display, then tick/untick the information you want to hide or display.
Select Capitalisation from the list of Automations.

How to setup Auto Capitalisation

Select Capitalisation from Viewing Capitalisation above.
Double click on Auto Capitalisation to open up the details.

Select Edit.

Automation type - select from the list of Automated Document Types.
Description - defaulted to be the automation type description. It should be overwritten if multiple automations are created for the same automation type.
From doc type - select the available Document type, ones to be included in the document evaluated.
To doc type - select all possible destination Document type for this Automation.
Trigger - defines when the automation will be run.
- Automatic upon posting.
- Allow manual run.
- Manual run only.
- Document selection only.
Default - select the Document type for the document(s) that will be created.
Select Save when complete.

Select Capitalisation from Viewing Capitalisation above.
Double click on Manual Capitalisation to open up the details

Select Edit.

Automation type - select from the list of Automated Document Types.
Description - defaulted to be the automation type description. It should be overwritten if multiple automations are created for the same automation type.
From doc type - select the available Document type, ones to be included in the document evaluated.
To doc type - select all possible destination Document type for this Automation.
Trigger - this will be Manual only.
Default - select the Document type for the document(s) that will be created.
Select Save when complete.

How to run Auto Capitalisation
Select Capitalisation from Viewing Capitalisation above.
Select, or Select and open, the Capitalisation then select Run.

Enter the automation criteria.

Date from: Select the earliest depreciation date that you wish to include (leave blank for all).
Date to: Select the latest depreciation date that you wish to include (leave blank for all).
Asset(s): Select Asset(s).
Asset Groiup(s): Select Asset Group(s).
Asset Depreciation Method(s): Select Asset Depreciation Method(s).
Legal Entity(s): Select Legal Entity(s).
Currency: Select Currency.
'Submit' tick box: If this is ticked the automation document(s) produced will auto Submit.
When you are happy with the selected criteria and setup, select Submit.
Select OK to continue working. Automation progress will show on the bottom left of the screen showing either In progress or Complete - see details in step 5 of How to run Automations.
