My Tasks
The task feature allows resources to create or delegate project tasks for other resources.
Tasks can be set with numerous attributes such as project type, category, who is responsible, priority and subject.
The screenshot below shows a sample grid of tasks, which includes some key information.
Further information
Type: This could be a variety of options e.g. task, training or question.
Priority: This ranges from 0-unassigned to 3-high.
Project: The project linked to the task created.
Category: The category that the task is in.
Milestone: The milestone presented shows which stage of a project the task is linked with.
Subject: The description of the task.
Responsible: Which resource is responsible for the task.
Status: Indicating the current status of the task.
Progress: Indicating the current progress of the task.
Created by: Who created the task.
Date created: The date the task was created.
Last Modified: The date the task was last modified.
Tip
To modify the columns displayed, select in the top right of the page, then untick the information you do not want to see.

Find a task
Find tasks by typing in key words used in the search field or in the top search row within the grid
Alternatively, use the sets along the top to toggle the tasks displayed.
Tip
You can even make your own sets.
Update the status of a task
By single clicking on a task, a shortcut will appear to update the selected tasks status.
Now select the status.
Tip
Press to show more status options.
Amend a task
Select the task that you would like to amend.
Press AMEND.
Amend the information depending on your needs then press APPLY.
Set a default task
If you are regularly using the same task information (e.g. the same person responsible) and you do not want to repeat filling out the same information every time, you can create a default task that will be drafted when you press NEW.
To do so, create a task with the default information that you want.
When you are happy with your default task press CREATE & SET DEFAULTS instead of CREATE.
This default task will now be ready for use.
Create a new task
Press NEW.
Fill out the the required fields.
Required fields explained
Project: Tasks can be linked to Projects however, the project must allow tasks to be used.
Milestone: If you have created project milestones, you will be able to link the task to the milestone.
Subject: This will be used to identify the purpose of the task and will be displayed in the My task finder.
Responsible: This field is to show who should be completing the task. If you create a task for someone else and they will be notified via the system.
Tip
Notes can be attached to tasks.
You can also add screen shots to a task.
Press CREATE.
- This task will now be stored in the My Tasks for later action.
