Customer & Supplier - Hold & Stop
- In this release you can now apply HOLD and STOP to Customers & Suppliers. The ability to apply HOLD and STOP is controlled via user roles.
- Using a Customer as an example, if they are placed on HOLD then you can enter draft documents against them but they cannot populate the ledgers. If the customer is placed on STOP then you cannot enter any documents.
- Customers & Suppliers can be set to HOLD/ STOP in isolation of each other.
User Role inheritance (Groups)
- As part of this release, we have enabled User Roles to inherit the access from other User Roles. The impact of this is the simplification of assigning user access and is a significant setup benefit for Implementers and Customers alike.
- This feature allows the creation and deployment of pre-defined User Role Groups which perform common business functions. You as the Customer can either user our User Roles or create your own.
- This simplifies the setup and implementation of user access permissions by Consultants and Customers alike.
Tightening of menu and data links
- In response to Customer feedback, you can now more tightly control user ability to see menu links as well as the viewing (via CTRL-Click links) of related records. An example of this is stopping the viewing of e.g. the Resource record by clicking on this link from an Expense claim.
- There may be examples where users no longer see menu items that they previously saw. This is by design to be able to provide the tightening of menu and data links but if you wish to re-add some access then please speak to the Support team who will assist.
Period simplification
- Customers have advised that Period default assignment options are confusing. In response to this feedback we have simplified the options available.
Integrated MTD
- Our integrated MTD solution has been granted HMRC accreditation which means you can process your VAT Returns via the system itself rather than having to download a file and process via the MTD specific app.
- This therefore means that by using the integrated solution, you are fully compliant with the latest HMRC guidelines in that the MTD return is directly from the systems documents and not subject to user manual corrections in the download file.
- Using the MTD portal app is still an option for those Customers that have additional finance apps.
Unlock Abandoned Documents
- Assuming the correct access permissions, it is now possible to both UNLOCK and DELETE abandoned documents. This is for those instances where a document has been abandoned but later decided to reinstate.
Cash Book Transfer - UNPOST
- At popular request, you can now UNPOST cash book transfers.
Portal User
- As part of this release, users can be assigned as a "Portal user". This means that they will only have access to User Roles which are "Portal compatible" (e.g. MY ABSENCE, MY EXPENSES, MY TIMESHEETS, MY AUTHORISATIONS) and will not have menu options.
- In addition to our free Exchange Rate Services, we have added the premium xe.com Exchange Rate service. This service is chargeable so please speak to your Account Manager to discuss.
Mobile dashboards
- Dashboards are now available on the Mobile. Watch this space as we deliver a suite of key dashboards.
Export PDF reports to Excel
- Reports can now be exported into Excel and retain their report formatting for ease of manipulation.
Resource Schedule
- Iplicit now has Customers working in over 50 Countries across the World so managing Absence per Country has necessitated Data Access Control. This is now enabled to allow restricting the Resource Schedule to only see fellow user absence from their designated Absence Group (Country in this example).
Absence data control
- Similar to Resource Schedule, Data Control is now also available for Absence.
