Manual journal recurring
- You can now create recurring manual journal templates. A common example would be monthly prepayments
Data entry control (DEC)
- This new feature allows the setup of data relationships which are used to control the content of related data catalogs. These DECs can be two dimensional e.g. Legal Entity A can only select Cost Centres A, B or multi-dimensional e.g. Legal Entity A and Cost Centre B can only select Department G.
- The application of these DECs can then be used contextually for different types of documents e.g. Legal Entity & Cost Centre DEC only used for Purchase document entry.
Communication portal
- This release sees the introduction of the communication portal where documents e.g. customer statement can be distributed to a customer as a link (URL) which can be either HTML or PDF. The HTML links are even capable of being refreshed by the recipient.
- In future releases these links will be capable of e.g. making payments, re-ordering, etc.
- Speak to one of our commercial team if you want one of our consultants to set links up for you.
Archive data
- This month we are delighted to introduce our archive data tool which allows the full import of historical Exchequer GL transactions. This enables Customers who previously used Exchequer to be able to turn off their legacy Exchequer database and be able to interrogate instead, the archive GL provided by the system.
- Speak to one of our commercial team for a quote if you want to store your legacy Exchequer GL in the system.
Timesheet Line Authorisations
- Workflow authorisation has been extended to allow the distribution of individual timesheet lines for authorisation.
Absence
- Not surprising around this time of year, our Absence management tool is being adopted by more and more customers. We have listened and responded to this increased usage and Customer feedback with more intuitive setup, entry and reporting of absence as well as authorisation capability.
Resource schedule
- In conjunction with the enhanced absence features, we have also revamped our resource schedule including greater control as to what can be seen.
Exchange rate providers
- In response to our increased international presence, we now support the automated import of exchange rates for an even wider set of Countries including e.g Vietnam, Cambodia, India, etc.
- For those of you that don't already take advantage of this, you can automatically get exchange rates for known currency pairs e.g. GBP -> EURO, EUR -> USD.
Self billing purchase invoices
- As part of our timesheet solution, in addition to being able to produce Sale documents from timesheets, you can now also produce Self Billing purchase invoices for Suppliers / Contractors who have elected to be paid from timesheets.
- See x for more information.
Mobile Timesheets
- We have enhanced the UI and features when processing timesheets on mobiles. This includes entry, submission and authorisation of timesheets.
Non Recoverable tax handling
- The processing of non recoverable tax has been further extended to include Purchase Orders, Cash Sales, Cash Purchases and manual journals (TBC).
- We constantly monitor performance with a view to optimise the speed of entry, submission and authorisation of documents. In this release you will experience significant improvements in this area.
NIL VAT Returns

Partial on Cash Sales
