Cash sales & purchases

A new class of transactions are now available for sales and purchases with immediate payment.

You can find the new finders under the menu: Sales > Cash and Purchases > Cash or under quick launch as Cash sales and Cash purchases.

Supplier authorisation

Suppliers can now be subjected to authorisation. You can create custom authorisation workflows to use any of the supplier records to distribute for authorisation or to automatically approve.

Transactions on unauthorised suppliers are kept on hold.

GL reconciliation enhancements

General ledger reconciliations have had a number of improvements and are now more similar to bank reconciliations in look & feel, including overview, pending and matched transactions views.

  • A new matching mode is now supported for partial matching. In this mode an outstanding column is available.

  • Attribute restrictions can be applied to limit the matching to same attribute values, for example transactions from the same Project.

  • Opening and closing balances

Mobile timesheets

Mobile timesheet entry and authorisation is now available on the mobile apps.

Project costing & billing

The Project form has been enhanced with costing & billing reports:

As part of this update, legal entities can be enabled for Inter-company purchase & sale transactions.

Other enhancements

Document number padding

Document series now have support for padding with zeros by setting the Doc # format in Document series.

Document details

Detail lines can now be re-ordered using up/down arrows, adding to top / bottom as well as copying:

Copy exact

The new Copy exact allows copying a document while preserving the original dates, periods and currency rates.

New Excel functions

Several new Excel functions are now available, including aggregated account group balances as well as year-to-period balances. See the custom functions reference page For the complete set of functions.

Contextual help

We are now starting to provide contextual help in certain finders.

As we continue to improve our user guides and support resources we will be offering more contextual links.

New themes

There are 3 new themes now available in the updated user menu popup.
