Share Types
There are various types of shares that companies can issue, each with unique characteristics and benefits.
e.g.
Common Stock: Also known as ordinary shares, these are the most common type of shares. They provide shareholders with voting rights and a share in the company’s profits through dividends.
Preferred Stock: These shares typically do not carry voting rights but offer a fixed dividend and have priority over common stock in the event of liquidation.
Class A and Class B Shares: These are different classes of shares that a company can issue, often with varying voting rights and dividend entitlements.
