Loan Types

• A Loan Product refers to a specific type of loan which have distinct characteristics and terms, catering to various needs.

• The Loan products in this section will be available for use throughout the Loan functions.

How to view Loan Types

Viewing Loan types

Select Loan / Loan types from the Settings section of the pulse menu -

This is an example screenshot of the pulse menu.

Position of the menu items within pulse will vary according to available options and dependant on personal screen resolution.

or enter Loan types in the Quick Launch side menu.

This will then show the Loan types on the system where normal customisation of Sets can be used.

• Loan type: This is a unique code for the loan type.

• Description: Description for the Loan type.

  Tip

  To modify the columns displayed, select on the top right of the page, then tick/untick the information you want to see or not.

How to create a new Loan Type

Creating a new Loan type

1. Select Loan type from one of the options as shown above in Viewing Loan types.

2. Select New.

   

3. Enter a Loan type code.

4. Enter a Loan type description to identify the type.

5. Select Create.

How to lock and delete Loan Types

Locking and Deleting Loan types

1. Select Loan type from one of the options as shown above in Viewing Loan types.

2. Select the Loan Type to Lock - must be Locked to be able to Delete.

   

3. Select Lock via the option.

   

4. Select Unlock or Delete via the option.

   

   Note

   The Delete option will only show if the Loan Type has not been used in any document, transaction or setup.
