Document Templates
Document Templates are pre-designed forms or formats that help streamline various accounting and financial processes. These templates serve as a starting point for creating consistent and accurate documents.
How to view Document Templates
Viewing Document Templates
Select Document / Document Templates from the Settings section of the pulse menu -

This is an example screen shot of the pulse menu.
Position of the menu items within pulse will vary according to available options and dependant on personal screen resolution.
or enter Document Templates in the Quick Launch Side Menu.

This will then show the Document Templates on the system where normal customisation of Sets can be used.

Tip
To modify the columns displayed, select
on the top right of the page, then tick/untick the information you want to hide or display.
How to create Document Templates.
Create a Document Template
Select Document Templates from one of the options as shown above in Viewing Document Templates.
Press New.

Select a document template, then select Create.

Enter the resulting fields depending on the document type selected.
e.g. for a Purchase invoice: Direct template -

If Custom data access control has been set-up in Environment Defaults ...

... then the Custom data access control attribute will show in the header of the document.
e.g. for a Cash purchase template -

Press Create to save the new document_template.
How to Import Document Templates
Importing Document Templates
Select Document Templates from one of the options as shown above in Viewing Document Templates.
Select Document templates import from the
icon.
Enter the filename to Import.

Select Submit.

Selecting Queue from the dropdown option will queue the import process until other actions in iplicit are completed.

Warning
iplicit allows a maximum of 5,000 rows in a single Import.
If your Import is too large, an error message will tell you that the Import cannot be processed and will advise you to create smaller Import files.
If the latter is not possible, please contact Customer support.
