    Interface definitions

    Interface definitions refer to the specifications and protocols that allow different software systems to communicate and exchange data with each other.

    Viewing Interface definitions
    1. Select Data Upload / Interface definitions from the Settings section in the pulse menu -

      This is an example screen shot of the pulse menu.

      Position of the menu items within pulse will vary according to available options and dependant on personal screen resolution

      or enter Interface definitions in the Quick Launch Side Menu.

      This will then show the Interface definitions on the system where normal customisation of Sets can be used.

      Tip

      To modify the columns displayed, select on the top right of the page, then tick/untick the information you want to hide or display.


    When setting up these Interface definitions, some may require certain Setup parameters, e.g. Document import.

    On Setup parameters tab:

    • Batch series: Select the Batch series from the dropdown options.

    • Date format: Select the Data format from the dropdown options.

      This format must match the date format in the source import file, otherwise the import will fail.

    • Date and time format: Enter date and time format.
