Budget Types

A Budget type defines various configuration types of Budgets.

Structure

• the standard Budget account structure that all budgets must follow.

• Attribute rules that the budgets must follow.

Value presentation

When entering budget values, these will be presented using the specified scale and number of decimals.

Note

The value presentation settings can be changed at any time.

The budgets are stored in absolute numbers, irrespective of the current presentation settings.

Periods

• Financial year group

  All the periods in the budget must be part of this financial year group.

• Fixed duration

  A fixed duration budget cannot be extended.

• Include special periods

  Determines if special periods available for selection in budget periodicity setup.
